the shared wi-fi only works well in the lobby area.

The room was clean and had a lovely ambiance, but
The shared bathroom situation was a bit inconvenient for our group. The location was fantastic and very close to local attractions.

Close enough to some amenities without being noisy. Loan bikes to ride into town on. Clean. Friendly hosts. Use of lounge and pool table in main house so you get a family feel even though chalet is out back. Price just right for our budget.

Check in was extremely easy. I did not have to present my card or fill out any forms. Same with check out. The inn manager Kay was so helpful and a great host. There were bikes available for us to use for free. The location was good, right in the town of Stowe on the main street. I had a really good experience and will return next time I visit the area.

A cozy stay in Stowe
The hosts were very good, we had everything we needed .
The shared bathroom setup was a bit inconvenient, and the old building had a noticeable musty smell upon entry. The icy driveway also posed some safety concerns.

Bike path behind the INN The fact that it was not a "hotel" style place. I am used to places that are not "fancy" from my hiking days but my husband likes the fancier places. I would certainly come back again (without my husband).

Cleanliness of the room, and how quiet and peaceful it is. Thank you.

The bed was quite comfortable and provided good rest.
The traffic noise was unbearable , especially at night when I had hoped for some peace and quiet. The room lacked a private bathroom, inconvenient. Even though it was busy season, the noise from the street really disrupted my experience.

Also, location was exceptionally nice, relatively near Once Upon a Time Toys. The room was great value and we had a comfy bed in it. We had central heating and television plus a renovated bathroom.

excellent coffee shop, community path access, complimentary bicycles
I found the driveway to be dangerously icy at times!!! The noise from street traffic made it hard to relax, and a half-eaten cookie in my room was less than inviting. A bit of maintenance on the building's odor is also needed!!!

This Inn was excellent for the price and location. Stowe has some very expensive resorts, lodges, and Inns on the same road as Riverside but it was considerably cheaper. It was not fancy but we were not looking for fancy, just clean and with a great location, which it had both. We were on the same road as the mountains of Stowe resort, had restaurants and bars in walking distance, and was ten minutes from the Vermont famous Ben & Jerry's Factory.

The location was fantastic, just a short walk to the brewery and mini golf, making it very convenient for our family activities.
While the shared bathrooms were clean, the general odor in the old building was off-putting and could use some freshening up.

We had an very nice time exploring nature here! The location was a breath of fresh air, close to a recreation trail and river, perfect for biking and hiking. We were delighted to find two fantastic breweries nearby, along with a charming coffee shop and superb pizza place-all within easy walking distance!
The driveway was quite icy , making access tricky at times.
